Last weeks meeting went
well as usual. There was discussion about the ongoing
development of the network 128 Website, guests and
members were introduced to each other and business
opportunities were shared.
Jeremy's guest John
Stearns, a financial specialist from Edward Jones was
intrigued by our e-newsletter which he had been
receiving for the last several months. After receiving
the latest meeting confirmation on June 01, 2007 He
requested to attend the last meeting. This was a clear
example of how email marketing can be used to drive
traffic to the network 128 website.
Jeremy Mays presented the
template for the Network 128 Business cards. This
prompted further discussion on the growth of network
128, (such as email marketing, recruitment and business
card distribution,) which is currently at 14 members.
The goal is to reach 20 members for now and possibly 25
by the end of the year.
Members were reminded that
attendance is 100% mandatory. There has been a small but
growing concern about consistent attendance.

Discussed the New Member Packages and are expecting to
have a prototype ready for the next meeting on June 26,
2007.
Aside from running the
meeting, Network 128 President Jeff Garr, reviewed who
has participated in “one on ones” and reminded all of us
the importance of meeting outside of the meetings to get
to know one another and learn about each others’
businesses on a more in-depth level. Coffee and lunch
are great ways to have “one on ones”

this will further improve on repeat visits to the
website, which is our primary recruiting tool for new
membership. As well, populating the calendar with other
events is a great way for members to get together
outside of the meeting environment.
Network 128 Member Brian
Davis Has graciously volunteered to head up the “Guest
Speaker” initiative. This initiative will give members
the opportunity to hold 15 – 20 minute sessions to
inform the group further about their business. Outside
speakers will also be welcome. If you have a guest
speaker in mind for an upcoming meeting, or you would
like to put yourself on the schedule for an upcoming
meeting, contact Brian Davis. The first speaker at the
next meeting will Ernie Brown
The next meeting on June 26
will be followed by a board meeting to discuss and
outline rules and regulations. If you have any input
