Did you know that last Wednesday was the official Social Media Day? In Boston, the organized meetup was ranked in the top ten for attendance. The whole presentation was streamed live online (courtesy of Steve Garfield).
There were 8 social media experts and each spoke about how social media has been integrated with their career and personal life.
Presenters included:
-Mike Petroff Web Manager for Enrollment at Emerson @mikepetroff
-Ja-Nae Duane CEO of Wild Women Entrepreneurs @TheSunQueen
-Dan Zarella author of “The Social Media Marketing Book” @DanZarrella
-Thomas Edward – Boston’s #1 dating coach @UrWingMan
-Erin Hines – Vice President of Live Entertainment Experiences @Erin_Hines
-Brad Blake – government @bradmblake
-Steve Safran – Traditional Media @lostremote
-Project Red – Non Profit
Each of these speakers had 10 minutes to speak about social media and the function it served within their businesses.
